Our Story
Artsac’s Workshop Collection is a collaboration between Artsac & independent designers / artists, combining experienced fashion design with bespoke artwork to create a new approach.
In this collection we worked with renowned designer Alex Fowkes, combining specialist materials and construction with his detailed typographic work to create this unique collection.

Alex Fowkes
Alex Fowkes is an exceptionally talented young British designer. After graduating from Nottingham Trent in 2010 he set out his path to become a freelance designer. A wise move considering to this present day he has commercial projects under his belt from the likes of Sony Music, O2, Fila, Urban Outfitters and many more.
By the age of 26 Alex had become a published author with a well recognised piece on his specialist subject typography. We welcomed Alex’s influence, and his unique design has brought a bespoke styling to the workshop collection.

Typographical Pattern
Our main goal was to use Artsac Workshop as a canvas for Alex to express his detailed typographical work. Alex’s first step was to create a bespoke Artsac Workshop print to be used with specialist materials sourced and developed by our creative director Rob Charles Smith. This was applied to the final tactile product of Artsac Workshop collection. We gave Alex the freedom to take Artsac Workshop’s existing branding and add his own creative touch, in doing so the Artsac Workshop x Alex Fowkes Typographic Pattern was created.
